I am a 42yr. old, African American female. I have suffered from IBS for over 19 years. My symptoms included never feeling like my bowel was empty, continual constipation, abdominal pain, bloating, anxiety, irritability, depression, having no social life whatsoever, and only able to hold down part time jobs. I had to stop eating a lot of foods (that seem to affect my condition the most). After having my condition misdiagnosed for 14 of the 19 years, I have run the gamut of prescription medications. I have taken just about every laxative, pain killer, and antidepressant known to man.

At one time I was completely dependent on laxatives just to get a daily bowel movement. When I would explain to my doctor the symptoms I was having, he would relate to a "hormone imbalance." I was even put on birth control pills to see if this would put my hormones back into balance (now I know my hormones had nothing to do with it). The pain medications I was prescribed only worked until I built up resistance to them, while my pancreas suffered the most damage. (To this day I am not able to take Ibuprofen). I also had issues with hair loss; I believe due to the antidepressants. I would wake up to hair all over my pillows; patches missing (thank goodness for hair weave). Adding fiber to my diet . . . this made me want to go more . . . my bowel would not cooperate.

Many of my female family members and friends also describe having similar symptoms, as well as similar conversations with their doctors. I needed to take control of my life. I began doing my own research on alternatives. I was able to find Digesterol in May of 2006. The day I began taking Digesterol I could feel the relief. Within 1 week of taking Digesterol, my results were remarkable! Today, my bouts with anxiety and depression have subsided. I am able to have more regular bowel movements. The bloating and abdominal pain has stopped, and I am able to eat just about anything, with the assistance of Digesterol.

I am not only a satisfied customer…I am also an employee!
